 The AADE Board of Directors recently approved a naming policy for our component groups from LNGs to CBs to COIs. The goal was to streamline LNG and CB names so that members can clearly identify each of the groups and easily find a group near them. It also unifies all the groups in MY AADE NETWORK and strengthens the AADE and diabetes educator brand across the country.
In addition to clarifying the name, we now have logos available to download a logo suitable to print or for electronic use.
All groups are being asked to adopt the appropriate name by June 30, 2011.
 
All Community of Interest shall reflect the area of practice or specialty followed by the words "Community of Interest of the American Association of Diabetes Educators."
e.g. Foot Care Community of Interest of the American Association of Diabetes Educators.
