Engagement:
Member engagement is the crux of growing organization which cannot be overstated. While recruiting new members is a critical component, the manner and frequency in which we engage with our new members’ can make all the difference in helping them to see the value of their AADE membership.  It’s no secret that those members who regularly participate in education and volunteer tend to be more satisfied and likely to renew.

Engagement is a feeling that members have for an organization. We believe that members show us they are engaged with AADE by participating in our educational programming, or volunteering.

Simple and Effective New Member Engagement Strategies:

  • Engaging new members within their first 90 days leads to improved retention – personalize their membership experience and ask them to get involved!
  • Create a warm introduction for new members through a “Chapter Welcome Packet”
  • Foster a relationship-building environment – incorporate a network component in your events like a meet-and-greet for new and current members
